Rosa Chapa, a Rio Grande Valley native, is now a transplant living in Jersey City. She currently is an admissions advisor at a performing arts conservatory, and is finding her way back into the magical world of theatre. Her favorite credits include:?Man of La Mancha?(Aldonza),?Rumors?(Chris), and?The Nerd?(Tansy). She is excited to be involved with UNIT52, and even more excited to be part of the INTAR family.
Txai Frota is a New York based actor originally from the Boston area. He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he was presented with the Charles Jehlinger award for excellence in Acting. His recent works include the short film A Trip To Avalon, directed by Bradley Bixler, and the workshopping of plays at NYU’s Steinburg Theatre lab. If he’s not acting or creating something, you can find him on the upper west side tending bar or playing soccer.
Jacqueline is from a land far far away, she was born and raised in Mexico, but has studied in Texas since she was a little girl. She received her BFA in Acting from Texas State University back in 2013 and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.??Some of her accomplishments while in school include studying abroad with the Royal Shakespeare Company and performing in the?World Shakespeare Festival where she was cast as Romeo. She was last seen in the Off-Off Broadway production of Play/Date, an immersive theatre experience that took place in the lower east side for 6 months. Jacqueline is a classically trained flautist and a ukulele enthusiast! This is Jacqui?s first year as a member of unit 52!
Alex is very excited to create and work with such a wonderful loving group of young artists here at INTAR. Born in Trenton, NJ and a former resident of South Philadelphia, he is a recent graduate of the BFA acting program at Montclair State University, where he was seen in mainstage productions of The Grapes of Wrath, The Seagull, and Romeo and Juliet. Since then, he has performed at various theaters throughout the NY/NJ area such as Playwrights Theater of New Jersey, Passage Theater,? Under St. Mark’s Theater, and the red room theater to name few. He has also been featured in Law and Order SVU and co starred in a Martin Scorsese directed HBO pilot playing opposite Emmy winner Bobby Cannavale. He is looking forward to building a strong and loving bond with all his fellow artists at Unit 52!
Carlos Ibarra is an actor/writer/producer. He received his BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, while at NYU he trained at the Stella Adler Studio and Experimental Theatre Wing. He has, also, studied under Suzanne Esper at the William Esper Studio. Carlos has worked in commercials, theater, film and TV. In 2010, he founded 4 & 1 Siblings Productions, a video production company dedicated to the creation of compelling visual content for film, commercial, corporate and art organizations throughout the U.S. and abroad. The company’s first short film, Botes al Amanecer (Cans at Dawn), had huge success in the festival circuit; winning Best Short Awards and distribution interest. The company’s first feature script, Last Day (written by Carlos), was a 2nd Round Qualifier for 2014’s Sundance Institute Screenwriter’s Lab. This Spring, you can catch Carlos run across America (he’s really running) for the company’s most ambitious project, RUN CARLOS RUN.
Jessica Levi (actress and singer from Argentina). She graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. She has been working on different Web Series, Theatre projects and has also played her music at The Bitter End. Stefan Martin is an actor in Unit 52, and has collaborated in theater as a producer, costume designer, and devised theater artist. An alumni of Emerson College’s BA: Acting program in Boston, MA, he performed in Twilight: 1992 (d. Benny Sato-Ambush) and played the role of Sonny in Unit 52’s May 2014 production of Octavio Solis’s “Marfa Lights.” Stefan also co-designed costumes for the show, and serving as the head costume designers later in the year for “Patience, Fortitude, and Other Antidepressants,” which was presented at Encuentro 2014, a national latino theater festival in Los Angeles, California. He thanks his family and friends, and his extended Intar family for their support and motivation.
David Mila is a New York based artist?originally from Caracas, Venezuela. After graduating the American?Academy of Dramatic Arts, he has been working as the Asst. Artistic Director for?”The Possibility Project”. An?Off-Broadway?theater organization dedicated to producing theater for social change with the youth of NYC. He has also?worked with El?Repertorio Espa?ol, The Wild Project, LAByrinth Spring?Ensemble, and now very proudly?INTAR’s Unit 52. Go Yankees.

Ashley Marie Ortiz is a New York based actress/artist. ?Originally from North Carolina, she graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BFA in Acting. Stage credits include:Maria, Patience, Fortitude, and Other Antidepressants(INTAR/Los Angeles Theatre Center), Meiken, Marfa Lights(INTAR), One-Minute Play Festival 2013/14(INTAR), A Matter of Choice (Fringe Festival) and Mary/Eve, A Beautiful Star (Triad Stage). She came to New York? to study Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and since then she has been part of Time Temple, a live art exhibition at the Guggenheim?s Museum; she was part of the 1 Minute Play Festival at INTAR and at The New Ohio Theatre. As a proud member of Unit 52, Daniela originated the role of Patience in Patience, Fortitude and Other Anti-Depressants, by Mariana Carre?o King. Also at INTAR, she has been a regular actor in The American Nightcap Series, The One Minute Play Festival, and first workshopped her solo show The Just Play Project, which went on to a short run at HERE. Other New York Credits include In the Shadow of the Lighthouse at The Gallery Players, The Life of Joey by Brett Epstein, Erosion and the musical Cinderella with Identity Theater Company, among others. Favorite roles include Olga in Three Sisters with The Seeing Place Theater Company, Athena in Oh de Sea! directed by Tamilla Woodard, and Stella in Light Up the Sky, directed by Giovanna Sardelli. She appears in the feature films, Saudade?, Church ‘N’ State; God, I miss you, and the web series’ Fat Guy, and The TechTard Show. Hara Zi is a dancer, actress, and life long learner born in sunny Greece. After studying dance, dancing and teaching in Athens, she was awarded the Alexander Onassis Scholarship in 2010 and came to New York to study at the Jos? Lim?n Institute and continued her movement research as a scholar of Attica Tradition Educational Foundation.
